The Art of Face Painting
and
Antique Toy Wind-Up Clowns

Face painting is an age-old, creative art, which frees and enhances our imagination at any age. When I am painting I have found that adults enjoy being painted just as much as the children. We are, after all, just much bigger kids and we all want to play especially with our wonderful children. The joy of play has certainly been my enthusiasm in painting faces. I am the mystical muse and it my greatest pleasure to amuse you. I love painting my face, always different in design, and setting out to meet all of you and inspire and create with you, your fantasy's heart desire. When your face is finally finished it is the greatest fun to behold yourself in the mirror and set yourself free in your imagination to become your new vision. Free yourself and free the mystery inside. So you create a bird and in your beautiful imagination you become the bird, or a fish, a butterfly, a frog, a flower, or maybe even super man. Between your amazing imagination and mine we create wonder and freedom of spirit in absolute fun and the enjoyment of playing together.

Speaking of fun, I was talking to my dad on Father's Day about the show and we thought his antique wind up clowns would fit nicely with the theme of face painting. I call dad Gapetto, caregiver to the life of old wind-ups. He carefully fixes the mechanisms so these dear toys may play again just for you.

You are welcome to have me come and paint at any kind of party you my have. My number is (415) 388-8933.

All the best from, Tarra Linder and Papa, Mort Linder
